Centennial, CO – Cosmic Aerospace has been awarded an Advanced Industries Early-Stage Capital and Retention Grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) to accelerate development of its zero-emission regional jet.

The Early-Stage Capital and Retention grant supports businesses commercializing innovative and disruptive technologies in the advanced industries that will be created or manufactured in Colorado. These grants help promote the growth and sustainability of advanced industries across the state by driving innovation and commercialization that move this vital part of the Colorado economy forward.
Cosmic Aerospace has been awarded $250,000 to advance its core technologies as it ramps up testing of its electric propulsion system and continues development of its embedded wing design. The funding will also support team expansion in Colorado.This grant follows several key milestones for Cosmic, including successful test flights of its CX-1 and CX-2 experimental aircraft, progress on its integrated propulsion architecture, and the opening of its new headquarters in Centennial, Colorado, in 2024. The company is now scaling toward commercialization of Skylark, its 24-passenger all-electric jet, which is targeted to enter service by the end of the decade.
